Conservation Framing: Put simply, conservation framing employs the use of materials that have been proven to protect and maintain the art in as close to its original condition as possible. All Glass is not equal: There are many choices in glass on offer, but the range we recommend is Tru Vue conservation glass which blocks out a maximum of 97% of harmful UV light rays. Perhaps you have a very bright room in which you display your artwork, then you should ask for conservation quality or conservation reflection control.

 

Perspex: For a light weight option, less prone to breakage perspex is a great alternative. We stock a range from standard grade through to UV protective, conservation quality and reflection control types.
